3 Benefits of being mindful

I think if iv learnt anything from the last year, it’s my own mind and how important it is to be MINDFUL.

What does this mean? Mindfulness is focusing your attention on the present moment & accepting it. 

I have a tendency to worry about things which are out with my control. Look for the key words there, *out-with my control*. This means I cannot change the world, peoples mindsets or decisions (as much as id like to sometimes!!). 

The sooner you realise this the happier you will be with yourself: Benefits include:

– Reducing stress 

– Helps you be more at peace in your own head  

– A clear mind gives you a good foundation to start making positive changes 

You can practise being mindful with lots of things – by paying more attention to yourself & those around you, breathing, eating, sleeping & noticing how things affect you.

Many people don’t feel comfortable with the thought of being mindful. I know when what I’m like when iv got too much time to ‘think’ (we won’t go into detail here)
