Accountability

Accountability with your coach

A key benefit to Personal or Group Training is having the accountability to achieve your fitness goals

Without a structured training program, tracking your calories, setting weekly/monthly targets; it would be very challenging to achieve your goals.

This is where accountability with your coach/PT comes into play. Before a weight is lifted, you would sit down with the coach/PT and go through a consultation. From all the questions the coach/PT has asked and the information that you have provided, they will then be better able to put together a program specific to you.

Testing and measurements would be taken as a baseline of where you are currently at, and over the course of working with your coach/PT, testing and measurements would be retaken each month, along with an updated training program to continue your progression.

Accountability with your coach/PT is soo important as it keeps you mentally focussed on achieving your fitness goals. You can track where your fitness is currently at and offers you a ‘reminder’ that what you are doing is either working or to help you and the coach/PT assess what aspect of your lifestyle can be improved to achieve better results in your testing and measurements.

Lastly, to be ‘accountable,’ you MUST be honest to your coach and to yourself. Your coach is there to educate and help you to your goals; therefore, if you have a day/week where you are eating junk, let them know. If there is a day where mentally you are not feeling the best, let them know (modifying your session that day is important to rebalancing your mental frequency).

COMMUNICATION IS KEY!
