Wildcard Wednesday: Ab Roll Outs

AB ROLL OUTS

Are planks and sit ups getting too easy? Try barbell ab roll outs. These are an advanced core exercise that train your entire body and will leave your abs burning!

A strong core is fundamental for improving your training and posture. You can read more on core training here.

How to: 

1. Start the movement in the kneeling push up position with your hands on a bumper plate loaded barbell

2. Squeeze your butt towards the bar so there’s a straight line from your knees to your shoulders

3. While keeping your core engaged, inhale and roll the barbell away from you

4. Roll the barbell out as far as you can, pull it back to the starting position and repeat
